About Claude
Home Base
Never too far from a lake or river, Claude is based in Bethesda, MD, along the Potomac River, were she enjoys hiking along the C&O Canal.
She grew up in Québec, Canada, where her summers were filled with camping, sailing, canoeing, swimming and cycling, and her winter weekends were spent skiing.
She still gets around on her 35 year-old Motobécane, and loves it!
Claude has been producing videos for clients since 2001. After apprenticing on the award-winning documentary "Maquilopolis," she began working, mostly with non-profit organizations, to produce videos that serve their strategic communication and business needs. She has since also worked on several feature documentaries.
She is an Executive on the Board of Directors of the Washington, DC chapter of Women in Film and Video (WIFV-DC), and writes a monthly column for WIFV's newsletter.

It's Academic
Claude's wide-ranging interests and curiosity are reflected in her broad academic career.
She earned a college degree in science which extended into undergraduate studies in the health sciences. Ultimately, her love of stories drew her to filmmaking and she completed her Baccalaureate in Cinema at Concordia University's School of Cinema in Montréal.
Soon after graduating, she moved to the United-States where her interest in sustainable design and architecture eventually led her to pursue graduate studies and earn an M.Sc. in Sustainability.
She's continually learning and growing, both as a filmmaker and as an adventurer in sustainability.
Have Passport, Will Travel
As her name suggests, Claude is French-Canadian. She's fluent in French and English, is a dual citizen of Canada and the United-States and holds a current passport from each country (handy, eh).
